Greg Kinsey is a senior advisor helping clients to envision, plan, and execute their "Industry 4.0" journeys. He has over 35 years experience in industry, technology, and consulting. During the 1990s, he was a pioneer of the Lean Six Sigma movement in Europe, as Operational Excellence director at both AlliedSignal and Siemens. He went on to senior executive roles at IBM, HP, Celerant Consulting, and Hitachi, where he recently led their Industry 4.0 solutions and consulting business in EMEA. Greg Kinsey earned an MBA at Georgetown University, and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. He is an American/French dual-national, residing in Paris.
His presentation will highlight “lessons learned” from a wide range of client projects over the past five years in Europe, within the automotive, aerospace, machinery, electronics, and consumer goods sectors. One common challenge from all these projects was how to integrate digital transformation within a lean production model, to achieve measurable results.
